It's the only tank big enough for my full grown bearded dragon, Topaz, that's on the market and is also aesthetically pleasing. Okay so I'm going to give a very honest review of this tank because so many are written by affiliates which I respect but sometimes their information seems bias.

The lock wire is very thin, easily broken, and it will let the doors be cracked open on either side that is big enough for a small snake -like a corn- or gecko to squeeze through. The door locks are really neat, but I would recommend finding something different if you have a smaller snake like a corn. Both of the glue bottles for the door guards, where completely cemented over and unusable. The substrate guard does not like to stay in place -my male ball python likes to crawl across it at night, and always knocks it over, so I have to pop it back up again every morning- but for bearded dragons or smaller type snakes, it wouldn't be much of a hassle. No matter how hard we pushed it down, it always kept popping back up in both corners. It kept constantly popping up from two corners. The second one, the top was not wanting to stay put. I bought two tanks, one went together with no problem. Easy to put together, but can be just as easily messed up. They are very nice in size and visual appeal. I really like these tanks, but not quite loving them. Overall I think this is an excellent product from a great company, and I know this beardy is enjoying his new house! With that being said however, the top mesh screen is made of a very durable, high quality metal, with no plastic that could potentially melt under your heat lamps. The second thing is that once fully assembled, the top mesh screen cannot be removed. To me they are not a big deal but they might be to you: First is that the front doors slide rather than swing open on a hinge, so you can really only have one side open at a time which makes cleaning slightly more difficult. There are a couple things to note if you are considering buying this habitat however. I have reached out twice now and both times they responded immediately. This company has great customer service as well. The doors are acrylic, not glass which I also like. The wood paneling holds the heat in more effectively than the glass terrarium he was in before. The materials are sturdy, easy to clean, and the assembly was simple and straightforward. I'm very happy with this enclosure and so is the beard! Just look at those plump little legs! Great value for the price. Still trying to get him warmer and humidity up a little bit.

I'm still trying to figure out temp and humidity it my little guys enclosure I was hopeful this enclosure would help fix it but not really. Looks pretty just not sure if it's going to last. It was easy to put together and a bit better than the home made enclosure my rescue came with. Instructions on the website I couldn't find ended up going to YouTube. I warning that the wood ish pieces are sharp would have been a nice. I'm hopefully for at least a couple to few years. I'm not sure how long it will last to be honest. My guy is about 3 months old I was planning on putting a top soil sand combo for substrate in a few months, however with the quilt in question I might wait until I get a better enclosure. I will probably buy the mat the floor is really slippery. Doesn't hold the heat as much as I would like it to. I had a piece that was chipped thankfully it wasn't a huge chip. The laminate bamboo could definitely be better. It really should come with paper instructions. I'm not sure if I would buy it again or not. Believe me, it's vastly easier to clean.Well overall it's a decent terrarium. I'd say if you want an enclosure for your bearded dragon, this works well. It's not the best enclosure but it's certainly not the worst. Something to keep in mind.Īll in all, I don't hate this enclosure. I can work with that but, I know some people don't like that. My friend helped me build this and we had such a struggle with these doors and I still do not trust them to hold. It's not the most expensive enclosure out there but, this is still fairly expensive. However, the materials themselves are pretty cheap. Listen, this enclosure is incredibly easy to set-up and it's a good enclosure. I think peeling the paper off the acrylic was the most difficult part outside of figuring out how the doors work.

The wood looks really nice and seems to hold heat well! It was fairly easy to set-up. As for positives, it's lightweight compared to several other enclosures. I have mixed feelings on the overall enclosure.
